    This is the bus stop for line 646 on Mountain Blvd and Fontaine Court. Students from Skyline High, Montera Middle School annd other local schools exit the bus here. The sidewalk is covered in overgrown weeds and needs to be mowed for student safety.

    It would be nice to have a concrete section here for kids to stand on as they wait to cross the street. It would also be nice to have a painted crosswalk here for students to cross the street safely. But weed cutting should be done pretty regularly here even if the City of Oakland cannot afford to paint a crosswalk for our students.

    I received an email today saying that it has been taken care of. Today is Apr. 24, 2024 and the weeds have not been removed. I am also asking the City to maintain that area more frequently including the Bamboo that often grows out to block the sight line
