This is for all intents and purposes a commercial area, because many nonresidents have to park on the street, because the parking lots are inadequate. BART was advised many years ago by neighbors that parking lots would be needed and chose to ignore that advice. Neighbors who offered parking were stopped by the City. Street sweeping needs to be done at night, and signs need to be less confusing: "each month"??? Do you mean each week or do you mean the first or last week of the month? What do you mean??? Please fix. I parked on street behind BART station because sign was vague and everyone else was parked there, so I thought sign was referring to another week of the month and regulars knew that. Got a ticket. So fix the signs and sweep at night, please. Every inch of parking in that area is needed during the day. And put in a multistory parking lot, for heaven's sake. It would quickly pay for itself.
