Many seniors park in front of the YMCA in Oakland on Broadway just before the Y opens @ 5AM. These seniors are taking steps to stay healthy and pay more taxes by living longer. Parking enforcement has been coming by minutes before 5AM, taking photos and issuing parking tickets by mail. True, parking before 5AM is illegal but, come on, give us a break, 3 minutes before 5AM giving tickets.
